The JCR notes that...

I. The college does not have a community choir for members of the college.

II. A lot of people might be scared by the idea of sight singing and the commitment of more formal choirs and music groups.

III. There used to be a community choir which was quite successful before the pandemic.

IV. There is already interest in a potential community choir, with a WhatsApp group of 11 members.

The JCR believes that...

I. There should be a student run community choir for those that are interested in singing in a group but might not necessarily have the time or experience for other groups (i.e. the chapel choir).

The JCR proposes that...

I. We set up one rehearsal a week that lasts an hour, potentially in the chapel

II. The JCR advertises the community choir around college and on their socials

III. This should be open for anyone in the college, including staff, members of the MCR

IV. The JCR gives a termly amount £100 for printing of sheet music, food, and potentially socials.

V. Repertoire is decided by the members of the choir.
