The JCR notes that...
Univ JCR doesn't have an AFL Society, despite being the most represented college in the University AFL club. There is significant interest from Univ members, including three Univite half-blues in the sport.
The JCR believes that...
Univ should have an AFL society, to grow interest in Aussie Rules even more - and give more people a chance to play free of cost. This is an opportune time time to start this, due to the presence of very experienced players in the college, who could teach new members and spread the love of "the beautiful game".
The JCR proposes that...
The Univ AFL Society be established, and allocated £100 in accordance with other Univ sports societies of this size.
