Amelia Sinclair

I'm Amelia (she/her), a second year PPE student from London, and your JCR President for the coming year.
Congratulations - you've earned your place, and I hope you're excited. If you're also slightly nervous, that's completely normal, and almost everyone here has stood exactly where you're standing.
Univ is a great place to land. It's one of the friendliest colleges in Oxford, it's right in the middle of town, and the college system means that however chaotic the rest of the university gets, you always have somewhere to come back to.
As JCR President I represent all the undergraduates to College - everything from rent discussions to making sure the JCR has everything it needs. I do it alongside a committee who put on welfare teas, BOPs, formals and a great deal else. You'll meet all of them in the pages that follow.
Mostly, though, I'm here to be asked things. If something's confusing or worrying you, please get in touch - before you arrive or once you're here.
