Tiddlywinks was a parlour game involving flicking plastic disks, or 'winks' into a pot, until some Oxford and Cambridge students developed a competitive version in 1955. The new game incorporated strategy and skill into a sport which was easy to learn, but difficult to master.
The Oxford society has been in and out of existence, with its last rejuvenation in 2022. Since then, we've gone on to draw a Varsity match (2024), and win the next two years!
Join us each week for sessions which are training focused and more casual games. No session is too intense and we often end up going for a few drinks after! We also compete in regular tournaments which will get you on the World Ratings Table (so you can become part of the top 150 in the world in Tiddlywinks!). Looking forward to seeing you there!
